Christ the Redeemer Church holds to the Five Solas of the Reformation:
- Sola Scriptura:
- – The ultimate authority for worship and godly living is Holy Scripture, alone
- Solo Christo:
- – Our salvation is found in Jesus Christ, alone
- Sola Gratia:
- – Our salvation is granted by God’s mercy. We are incapable of our own salvation and rely entirely on God’s grace, alone
- Sola Fide:
- – Our salvation was accomplished by the completed work of Jesus Christ. Our salvation is not secured by our works but by faith in Christ, alone
- Soli Deo Gloria:
- – In everything and in particular our salvation, we give the glory to God, alone

We use the following ancient historical creeds as confessions of our faith: The Apostle’s Creed, The Nicene Creed, and The Definition of Chalcedon.
We also use the following historical confessions of faith as standards of reference that we agree with inasmuch as they agree with each other: The Belgic Confession, Canons of Dordt, and Heidelberg Catechism (1618), The Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms (1647), and the London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689). Click here to see our analysis of these three reformed confessions and where they agree with each other.
